Dan Allen is a self-taught singer-songwriter and
acoustic guitarist whose sound can be compared
to artists like Dave Matthews or Jason Mraz. He
exhibits dedication to his craft as well as
enthusiasm for live performance, whether playing
one of his original songs or putting his spin on a
cover. Dan plays a very versatile set list that
covers over 100 songs and a wide range of artists
like "Outkast" and "Pearl Jam" to "Peter
Frampton" and "Stevie Wonder", which also gives
him the ability to play for any crowd young or old.
At 31, Dan is an experienced, musician and
performer. After graduating in audio engineering
from the prestigious "Recording Workshop" in
Chillicothe, Ohio, he spent 8 years in the radio
business. While working for a local radio station
(U93) Dan was the #1 overnight D.J. in Michiana
for two consecutive years giving testament to his
ability to entertain on the microphone. Since then
Dan has formed his own D.J./Entertainment
company and performed acoustically at various
venues and festivals across the mid-west.
